About Sur-O-Dhwani Foundation

Sur-O-Dhwani Foundation was founded with a dual purpose: to celebrate the vibrant Bengali culture in Hyderabad and to make meaningful contributions to society through social initiatives. Established by Shri Sujit Kumar Chakraborty and Smt Swapna Chakraborty, our foundation is dedicated to bringing together the Bengali community in Hyderabad, fostering a sense of kinship, and providing a platform for cultural expression and social engagement.

Our Mission and Goals:

Our mission at Sur-O-Dhwani Foundation is twofold: to unite and connect all Bengalis in Hyderabad, creating a sense of familial belonging, and to celebrate our rich cultural heritage through various festivities and events. Alongside our cultural endeavors, we are committed to giving back to society by supporting social causes and engaging in philanthropic activities.

Past Activities:

Since our inception in 2019, we have organized several cultural events, including Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, and various cultural activities, bringing the Bengali community together to celebrate our traditions and customs. Additionally, we have undertaken social initiatives such as annadanam (food distribution) and vidyadanam (education support), contributing to the welfare of the less fortunate in our society.
